Edinburgh Athletic Club’s senior endurance squad recently hosted its annual end-of-season awards night.

Gold for Jake and Silver for Jess in the Scottish Athletics 3000m Indoor Championships

The finishing times of the 3 marathons I ran between April 2019 and April 2020 don’t look particularly interesting in isolation - failed a tough challenge at the first time of asking, before going on to complete it next time and then do slightly better the time after that.

Woodrow, a 34-year old psychology researcher and qualified athletics coach, originally from Fife, long-time resident of Edinburgh, and now based in the Borders, was making her debut at the 100km distance, and representing Scotland for the first time.
